Share your Story; Inspire the World

“A chair is still a chair, even when there’s no one sitting there. But a chair is not a house, and a house is not a home…” ~Barbra Streisand

I love definitions. I’m a sucker for clarity. I like to be able to describe what I do, and who I do it for, in a single sentence. My decriptive sentence? “My name is Caroline Wangeci and I provide entrepreneurs with Online Visibility Solutions”. In that single sentence, I describe what I do in language that is relatively easy to understand, and I also state who I do it for. That way, any entrepreneur can relate and self-identify. If you need help with your clarity statement, I’d be happy to help.

This definition is necessary for me because I like words, so I tend to use A LOT of them to say a single thing… Meaning that I can very easily veer off course and talk for 15 minutes outside the main topic of conversation. Wait, what was I saying?…

Oh right,..definitions 😀

Of Weaknesses and Leverage

My Sir Speaks-a-lot’ness (oh yes I did) is a weakness. Not the speaking in and of itself, but the veering off topic. But it is a major part of me and because I like who I am, I don’t want to change. Becoming a person that I am not is too much work anyway!

So the only option left is to leverage this weakness for my success. Enter, writing. Writing helps to order my thoughts. Plus, I am very good at it. It is a major strength for me ergo, my leverage. When I need to speak publicly therefore, I write the points down so that I do not veer off. Just kidding…I actually write down the entire speech. Hey, better than rambling on for half an hour without saying anything. J

Weaknesses are not bad things. (In fact, for the rest of this article I’m going to put them in quotes because as far as I’m concerned, they aren’t even an actual thing).

So, that which is a “weakness” in one context or scenario is a major strength in another. Own your “weaknesses”, they are not the opposite of strength (Click to Tweet!). They actually exist together with your strengths to bring out all of who you are, and make you the absolute best you can be. In everything you do, Bring ALL of who you are J. That’s what the world is waiting for.

Inspire, Build people up, Share in love, Love, Laugh, and share your story.

Do your feel like you have a lot to share with the world, but do not know where to start? Send me a note. I have an offer for you that you cannot refuse 😉
